Monocular ARES PVS-14 Gen3 (green phosphor) – PVS 014 NVM night vision monocular with its Gen3 S28 P43 tube (green phosphor; sensitivity of 850 or 1600), for an average FOM of 1600 to 1700 (S/N – dB: 25/28 x Resolution – central & peripheral: 64-64 l/mm) & a FOV – field of view – of 40°. Lens with multi-layer coating by depositing a metallized layer – helmet mounting or hand-held use – operates with a single battery Lithium CR123 or 2 AA batteries (1,5 V).
Automatic Brightness Control (ABC) – maintains image definition and clarity in changing environments – its integrated infrared illuminator provides an additional source of illumination (allows the user to operate in total darkness – automatic triggering from 0.05 Lux). Automatic cut-off function (when exposed to bright light, above 40 Lux) & LED indicator in the eyepiece (low battery), battery life up to 80 hours – 40h with IR active – estimated average life (by the manufacturer) of 10000 hours.
Compact polymer & aluminum case (115x69x54mm, weighing 263 grams) – Mil-Spec & IP67 – waterproof and dustproof, quick mounting on helmet or head support, robust, perfect for area surveillance and night driving suitable for night driving and operations in urban areas. Maximum open vision of 180 to 200 meters, depending on the conditions of your environment.
