GUIDE FOR SHOTGUNS AND RIFLES WITH THREADED BARRELS

This guide is for installing threaded muzzle brakes, and ONLY for threaded barrels. All Grizzly Gunworks threaded muzzle brakes for rifles and shotguns are identical in design, and come with two locking screws. LITE threaded muzzle brakes come with a precision locking nut (LITE muzzle brakes have their own installation guide). Please read the following before attempting to install or use your muzzle brake.

HOW TO INSTALL YOUR THREADED MOUTH BRAKE

ALL MOUTH BRAKES MOUNT AND DISMANTLE IN THE SAME WAY

(Follow the safety rules IN ALL CASES)

1. Make sure the firearm is not loaded

2. Remove the magazine from the firearm.

3. Align the muzzle brake with the barrel and screw it to the end of the thread.

4. When the muzzle brake is at the end of the thread, position it anti-clockwise (or clockwise depending on the thread) to time it.

5. Position the GGW markings and the caliber at the bottom of the muzzle. The screw heads must face upwards.

6. You can use blue Loctite or a removable thread locker, but it is not necessary on threaded muzzle brakes.

7. Tighten the two fixing screws without forcing the thread.

** Note: tighten the screws gradually, from front to back and progress until you feel resistance. Please DO NOT tighten the screws one after the other, you must alternate the screws during tightening. **
