Description
V-90 impact fuze, with recoil and centrifugal force cocking – or with trigger delay adjustment (from 10 to 450 by turning counterclockwise, safety lock via an arm of relaxation). Mechanical-Time and Super-Quick (MTSQ) system with integrated thruster & projectile. Once the protective cover has been removed and the mode of fire chosen, the V-90 is ready for the firing sequence.
At the start of the shot, the recoil sleeve releases the locking ball of the mechanism, then repositions itself forward during the descent phase (by releasing the 3 firing pin engagement balls) – the centrifugal force releases its two triggers which deploy outwards from their housing.
