Description
Marathon GP Mechanical watch (36mm) Nylon DEFSTAN, a reinterpretation of the model Marathon GG-W-113 used by the US Army in the 80 years. Designed for field use, manufactured to US Army specifications - MIL-SPEC compliant. Manufactured in La Chaux de Fonds (Switzerland), according to the ISO 6425 standard, 316L surgical steel body, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal - maximum readability of the dial - and guaranteed waterproof to 50 meters (5 ATM).
Mechanical movement ETA-2801 (17 ruby) hand-wound, reliable and accurate, with 42 hours power reserve - 28800 movements per hour, hour, minute and second hands. Illumination of hands (hours, minutes & seconds) & hour increments by tritium tubes - constant illumination with no dimming and no need for an external light source.
Designed for rescue unit operators & the deployed soldier, the Marathon GPM ensures optimal discretion (no reflection on the case), exceptional robustness, reliability in extreme conditions and optimal dial reading in low visibility conditions. The mechanical movement reduces the risk of failure or breakage compared to an automatic movement.
