Marathon Arctic OSAR-D Automatic (46mm Jumbo) – Original SAR w/ Date – Originally designed for Canadian Armed Forces Search and Rescue (SAR) technicians in the early 2000s, the SAR-D is Marathon's foundational military dive watch. Completely redesigned and launched in 2024, this version 46mm Jumbo Arctic combines intervention heritage with a pristine white, high-visibility dial, designed to eliminate glare caused by reflections from snow and ice.
Manufactured in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, in strict compliance with ISO 6425 standards, it is machined from a single block of 316L surgical steel, water-resistant to 300 meters (30 ATM). It benefits from the improvements of the OSAR-D generation: enlarged indices for instant information acquisition, a redesigned cyclops lens, and optimized MaraGlo™ illumination.

Designed to offer exceptional grip even with fleece or diving gloves, the Marathon Arctic OSAR-D 46mm It features a raised, deeply notched rotating bezel and a large, easily operated screw-down crown. Its Swiss automatic movement Sellita SW200-1 (26 jewels, 28,800 bph) is protected against impacts by the suspension system Incabloc®.
The matte white dial is enhanced by oversized geometric hour markers and contrasting black hands, further enhanced by luminescent technology. MaraGlo™ high intensity for powerful and consistent light output in arctic darkness.
Its ergonomic case incorporates a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a 1.5x cyclops lens integrated above the date window. This model comes with a 3-piece bracelet kit. vulcanized engineering rubber (22mm)resistant to seawater, UV rays and extreme negative temperatures.
