Description
Carbine BYRNA Mission 4 in AR15 format – semi-automatic in .68 caliber powered by co² cartridge for personal defense and maintaining order with adjustable stock – allows the firing of kinetic projectiles (polymer, rubber/metal or rubber) & gas , in a 19-round magazine (plus 1 in the chamber). The BYRNA Mission 4 has the same characteristics as a classic AR15 rifle, handling, aiming and shot launch – compact format which allows CQB – the co² cartridge has two positions: ON and OFF – you have permanent access a stocked and operational weapon.
Excellent stopping capacity (effective range up to 35 meters according to us), allows the use of a mixed magazine (1 rubber projectile / 1 gas projectile) – a magazine should make it possible to stop three to four hostile individuals, or at least to fix them in order to be able to flee or attack with another means. Muzzle velocity of 99 m/s for an energy of approximately 17 real joules, the .68 caliber allows the ammunition to be crushed for optimal distribution of energy at the point of impact – particularly in the soft parts of the body.
The M-LOCK handguard (supplied with three removable Picatinny rails and a main rail on the superstructure) allows for the attachment of accessories (lasers, lights, etc.). The safety is easily accessible with the thumbs, and the trigger pull is light for a comfortable and rapid firing. The BYRNA Mission 4 comes complete with two magazines (two 19-round magazines – one black and one orange – which can be attached together for rapid reloading), a carrying case, and Flip Up sights. Lightweight (2700 grams unloaded), it is ideal for law enforcement, home use, and patrols. Its overall length of 820mm allows for sling carry.
