Designed and manufactured in the Czech Republic, the Duralumin Cylinder Head Cover with Optical Rail for Sa Vz.58 This definitively solves the challenge of mounting optics on rifles like the Samopal Vz.58, CZ858, and their civilian versions. Unlike mounts located on the handguard, this cover offers a 120mm MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail positioned directly at eye level for ultra-fast and natural target acquisition.
This part, which possesses absolute mechanical resistance, is made by Lost-wax casting of 6061-T6 duralumin, then finished on a CNC milling machineIts exclusive anchoring system utilizes four internal lugs which lock precisely into the machined holes of the original cylinder head housing, complemented by lateral locking pins/flanges. ⚠️ Installation and compatibility recommendations:
- Weapon compatibility: Designed for weapons with Sa Vz.58 dimensions (Sa Vz.58, CZ858 Tactical, CSA VZ.58 Sporter, Gazela 58, Hermex, CZH2003). Warning: Not compatible with the American Century Arms VZ2008.
- Optics selection: On the VZ.58 platform, spent casings are ejected upwards and forwards. Use compact optics or ensure the scope doesn't protrude too far forward above the ejection port to prevent casing ricochet.
- Adjustment: On certain series of military surplus receivers with varying tolerances, a minor adjustment of the side shims by a gunsmith may be required to eliminate any residual play.
