.68 pepper ammunition BYRNA (05 units) for guns & rifles Byrna – the ammunition bursts on contact, for cloud dispersion (360°) of the powder and an incapacitating effect in a few seconds – penetration of mucous membranes and respiratory tract, nausea, disorientation and anxiety. Projected out of the muzzle at a speed between 92 and 100 m/s (depending on the type of co² cartridge used), the ammunition allows indirect fire and the diffusion of the powder in a closed space (on a wall for example).
Active substance in powder form, ammunition composed of silicon dioxide (approximately 1% – for stability of the mixture and optimal dispersion), 95% pure capsaicin (CAS number 404-86-4 / 15 SHU / concentration of 000%) & PAVA (Nonivamide / CAS number 2444-46-4 / 9 SHU / concentration of 000%), optimal effectiveness, prolonged physiological effect – allows you to neutralize an attacker for 000 to 4 minutes.
