Description
DPM MRS recoil reduction system for Colt 1911 5″ “Bushing ONLY” (for 5″ bushing barrel) – replaces the original guide rod & recoil spring assembly for optimal recoil reduction, by gradually absorbing energy of the start of the shot and by slowing the slide before its impact with the frame of the gun.
4 external springs (to be used depending on the weapon's ammunition) & 1 set of integrated springs – a main spring to replace the original recoil spring, the second spring to dampen the slide travel and the third positioned spring inside the guide rod, for a final damping phase (the internal guide rod finishes its stroke on this spring).
