Le AVEC-CHEM CM-6 Tactical Gas mask for CBRN Defense It is designed to ensure maximum field of vision and optimal comfort in degraded or non-permissive situations. It guarantees absolute protection of the respiratory tract and face against CBRN toxic agents (vapors, gases, aerosols, contaminated dust) in conjunction with either standardized filter cartridges or a powered air-purifying respirator.

Standard mask CE EN 136: 1998, Class III & EN 148-1 (Threaded). Its construction from bromobutyl rubber (vulcanized polyisobutylene) ensures maximum impermeability to TICs (Toxic Industrial Chemicals) and CWAs (Chemical Warfare Agents), as well as excellent thermal and mechanical resistance. The hypoallergenic silicone inner half-mask guarantees a perfect seal without any fogging, even during sustained exertion, while significantly reducing CO2 buildup in the mask and offering low mechanical resistance during inhalation/exhalation (greatly reducing physiological stress on the wearer).

Two side threads (40×1/7" – 40mm NATO standard) allow the addition of two filter cartridges simultaneously – depending on the saturation of the atmosphere with the toxic agent – ​​or a single cartridge (the second thread being locked and sealed to allow the shouldering of a long gun). The hydration system – compatible with CAMELBACK type A & M adapters – is immediately operational.

The integrated communication system allows for 95% speech intelligibility up to a distance of 2 to 3 meters, without sound distortion. The mask is secured by a head harness (rubber and fabric) designed for wearing a ballistic helmet, with the possibility of integrating prescription glasses (not supplied) into the compartment provided in the mask if needed.
