Description
Pepper/CS .68 Projectiles BYRNA MAX (25 units) for guns & rifles Byrna – the ammunition bursts on contact, for cloud dispersion (360°) of the powder and an incapacitating effect in a few seconds – penetration of mucous membranes and respiratory tract, nausea, disorientation and anxiety. Projected out of the muzzle at a speed between 92 and 100 m/s (depending on the type of co² cartridge used), the ammunition allows indirect fire and the diffusion of the powder in a closed space (on a wall for example).
Active substance in powder form, ammunition composed of silicon dioxide (approximately 1% – for stability of the mixture and optimal dispersion), 95% pure capsaicin (CAS number 404-86-4 / 15 000 000 SHU / concentration of 1%) & CS (ortho-chloro-benzal malonitrile / CAS number 2698-41-1 / concentration of 8%), optimal effectiveness, prolonged physiological effect – allows an attacker to be neutralized for 25 to 40 minutes.
