BODOI trap (or VIETCONG, JAPANESE ...)

Trapping can be used everywhere, in various forms, and, of course, with or without an explosive element (plastic, pomegranate ...). The general idea is to make it simple, with almost nothing and maximum destructive capacity, using all the elements offered by the field.

The majority of us do not have access to the necessary explosive elements (grenade, mines, plastic, cord detonating ...), so we will be inspired by two traps (and their variant) that anyone (not too stupid eh) can use to defend a perimeter or prohibit a specific area.

Tactical applications:

  Demoralize the enemy because traps kill or maim comrades;
• 
  
  Keep hostile elements permanently stressed, suspicious and unable to relax, as it is difficult for them to know which areas, buildings or objects are safe;
• 
  
  Slow the movement of a troop because the soldiers are forced to clean the areas to be sure that there is no trap;
• 
  
  Make enemies cautious instead of aggressive and confident;
• 
  
  Create prohibited areas (real or imagined) after a trap has killed or injured someone;
• 
  
  Stop a platoon or platoon to cope with casualties, slowing and delaying troops;
• 
  
  Create confusion and disorientation as a prelude to an ambush

Of course, if you use this technique, DO NOT KNOW, NOTE AND DISTRIBUTE THE TRAPPING PLAN TO YOUR CAMARADES in an illegible format for the enemy in case the support is intercepted
